No luck finding warblers and thrushes at the Arboretum on Saturday morning. But I did follow the sound of a catbird which took me across the railroad tracks into a nice meadow of marsh marigold (Caltha palustris). I also stumbled upon some lovely hepaticas in a friend's yard on the west-side of town.
